Honorary Locos Information:

A new year for the Locos is under way and it has been an exciting one already. A simple check of the message board will show you that a lot of things are happening. This is the first year the Locos are making a strong appearance at all home men's soccer games. We are also trying to bring some thunder back to the 'dome this fall by attending some women's volleyball games. Basketball season is about to start but for us, it has already begun.

In coordination with the Marketing Department and the Men's Basketball staff, we've got many exciting events planned to increase student attendance and participation. But students need incentives to get out to the games. That's where we need your help! We still have a limited budget consisting of just student's membership dues and the Honorary Locos have been a big help to us in the past and so far this year with their generous donations.

We've seen a big shift in fan support already this year with two Loco soccer games more than doubling last year's attendance figures. We really hope to keep up this momentum through basketball season. The shirts are done and being seen all over campus. We've already sold an entire 400 shirt order, placed a second one, and its only October!! The Gaucho Locos appreciate any help you can offer to continue on a record-breaking path for the year!

Please include your shirt size and your e-mail address and shipping address. Shirts will be sent through USPS as early as October 23rd. If you would prefer to pick up your shirt at an official Gaucho Loco event and save us some money on shipping, you're free to do so. Please email us or tell us on the message boards so we can work something out.
